Course Description

This module offers a broader understanding of the clinical manifestations of common respiratory disorders, including breath sounds. You will also learn the rationale for choosing between a variety of respiratory devices.

Objectives for Learning Outcomes

At the end of this module, participants will be better able to:

  1. Recognize the pathophysiology of the respiratory system and how it relates to respiratory disorders.
  2. Discuss appropriate oxygen delivery devices.
  3. State the indications for pharmacologic treatments of respiratory disorders.
  4. Correctly determine interventions for patients with respiratory disorders.
