Course Description
This program offers healthcare providers an opportunity to validate and enhance clinical competencies, acquire new assessment and management skills, examine critical issues in health care at the state and national level, and learn about new products, services and pharmacotherapeutic agents. Faculty include distinguished regional and local experts.

ARNPs, CRNAs, CNSs, PA-Cs, Physicians, and other Advanced Practice Providers
Objectives for Learning Outcomes
After completion, participants will be able to:
- Understand clinical syndromes and severity of COVID-19.
- Creating a supportive environment during the dying process.
- Understand how to use translative evidence with patient care at the bedside.
- Describe the evolution of TAVR indications and use in current practice.
- Understand changes in the field of ischemic stroke.
- Be able to discuss the pros and cons of rapid & immediate volume administration for septic shock.
- Understand the mechanism of action of SGLT2 inhibitors.
- Compare and contrast spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage and aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage in regard to risk factors, clinical presentation, and diagnostic work-up..
- Identify unique qualities of a critical access hospital within Southeast Alaska Health Consortium (SEARHC).
