THE ROLE AND RISK OF MEDICATIONS

This module addresses trauma-informed care as well as specific treatment modalities for both veterans and non-veterans experiencing residuals of psychological trauma. 

OBJECTIVES FOR LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be better able to:

  1. Describe the role and optimize the use of medications in PTSD treatment in your setting.
  2. Integrate pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches to PTSD treatment in your clinical setting.
  3. Recognize and respond to the full spectrum of trauma residuals in individuals you are addressing and treating in your clinical setting.
