Conference Description

Whether you are an experienced executive, new to the management team, or a healthcare professional desiring to elevate your leadership potential in your current role, you will come away with strategies and solutions to expand and improve your leadership skills. This program is geared towards the everyday leader and is designed to equip and empower them with the essential skills and confidence to lead in place. Learning methods include lecture, discussion, case studies and interactive participation..

Target Audience

Staff nurses, clinical nurse specialists, nurse managers, psychologists, preceptors, social workers, counselors, and healthcare providers in all clinical and academic settings involved in any leadership role.

Objectives for Learning Outcomes

  1. Understand how our emotional intelligence affects our behavior and performance and relates to everyday leadership.
  2. Learn how to communicate in an emotionally intelligent way in a variety of settings and practice advanced communication strategies to enhance professionalism, role effectiveness, ethical comportment, and conflict resolution.
  3. Develop leadership competencies to provide efficient, effective, and safe care for individuals, families, and communities.

We recommend purchasing the e-book version, available on Amazon for $23.75, which includes the Emotional Intelligence Assessment. We have deducted the cost of the book from the registration fee to accommodate for the purchasing of this e-book.
