- Compare and contrast direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) to vitamin Kantagonists (VKA).
- Identify appropriate use of DOACs.
- Critically evaluate literature supporting the use of DOACs.
- Recognize significant drug interactions related to DOACs.
- Develop a therapeutic plan utilizing DOACs in the geriatric population.
