Sue Williams-Judge, MN, ARNP, CCD

Sue Williams-Judge has been a rheumatology nurse practitioner for more than 20 years. The last 8 years she has focused on osteoporosis and is the Strong Bones Fragility Fracture Liaison Coordinator at UWMC Northwest Campus.

Target Audience

Advanced practice nurse practitioners, especially adult, geriatric and family nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, nurses, pharmacists and other interested healthcare professionals.

Objectives for Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be better able to:

  1. State why osteoporosis treatment is important.
  2. Describe the difference between anabolic vs. anti-resorptive treatments.
  3. Describe two newer bone therapies.
  4. Describe why bone med sequencing is important.
