Conference Description

In all practice settings, clinicians are involved in managing care for patients living with diabetes. Staying informed about the latest research and treatment strategies for glycemic control is essential to help patients achieve maximum health and manage complications. Learning methods include lectures, discussions, and case study analysis.  

 Learning Outcomes

  1. Discuss the newer diabetic drug options for diabetes and others currently in development.
  2. Evaluate the common complications and management of diabetes in older adults
  3. Collaborate with interprofessional healthcare teams in the management of diabetic patients to increase health equity and promote patient safety
