Course Description

This module gives us a better understanding of disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, including their causes, management, and corrective procedures.

  1. Discuss the pathophysiology and management of a client with GI bleeding.
  2. Discuss patient education needs of a client with inflammatory bowel disease.
  3. Counsel a client on the risk factors/prevention for viral hepatitis.
