From Acne to Staph Scalded Skin

This module will focus on identifying and treating acne eruptions in children.

OBJECTIVES FOR LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be better able to:

  1. Review differential diagnosis for SSSS (Staph scalded skin) and how to distinguish from Stevens Johnson syndrome.
  2. Discuss treatment options for hidradenitis suppurativa.
  3. Review acne types and formulate a treatment algorithm to match type and severity.
