MANAGING DRUG-INDUCED TREMORS AND TARDIVE DYSKINESIA

This module describes movement disorders that may occur due to treatment with several different categories of medications. Instruction includes videos of each type of movement disorder.

OBJECTIVES FOR LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be better able to:

  1. Know the basic understanding of drug-induced movement disorders.
  2. Describe the general approach to workup and management of tremors.
  3. Discuss the general approach to management of tardive dyskinesia.
