This module focuses on the physiology of sleep development in children and review common pharmacologic treatments in sleep disorders.

OBJECTIVES FOR LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be better able to:

  1. To learn about the basic physiology of sleep and normal sleep development in children.
  2. To learn about pediatric sleep disorders through clinical vignettes.
  3. Review the most common pharmacologic options in the treatment of pediatric sleep disorders.
