This module will review the risks and benefits of denosumab, bisphosphonates and estrogen.
OBJECTIVES FOR LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be better able to:
- Understand the risks of Denosumab, particularly hypocalcemia and rapid rebound bone loss.
- Describe the effectiveness of bisphosphonates as related to duration of use.
- Learn the benefits of estrogen in recently postmenopausal women.
